Recently i found out a way to earn xtra money and has the potential of expanding it. All thanks to my opticians (couple). It happened 1month+ ago. I went to the optical shop which i frequent to for a new pair of specs. Because i always recommend ppl to their shop, they always gif me discount and soon we became frens. They asked abt my family, my life and we chatted for quite awhile. Then they ask me to help them buy fish if its convenient coz their mum likes to eat Jin Mu Lu (Goldeneye Fish, direct translation) and they always buy nt fresh and expensive de. Altho i tell them ok, in my mind i didnt hav the intention to help them buy. Coz its veri veri veri troublesome. I need to help them put ice, den pack properly, den carry all the way frm my work place to home, handle for them everyting den put in my freezer at night den bring to their shop.

One day we had a very huge quantity of Jin Mu Lu so i tot “aiyah since gt so much stock help them bring abit back to woodlands lar. since they always gif me discount.” Mayb im a business person :X i suddenly hav an idea of earning money whereby its a win-win situation for both parties. Imagine for example one kg of fish, my capital is $5 we usually sell to neighbourhood market de fish mongers for around $8-9. Den they sell to u ppl for $17-18. As a trader, i earn money by selling in huge quantity tats y hav to sell cheap (compare selling $3-4 bucks higher of my cost price than fish mongers who sell $9-10 higher frm their cost price), while fish mongers earn by selling alot higher price but in lower quantity. In other words, the fishmongers r actually the middleman who is earning the “so-called” comission.

So i plan to sell around $5-8 higher than my cost price to my optician which i earn more than selling in the fishery port. And they buy it cheaper frm me than frm fishmongers. The first time, i test abit of water by selling them $4 higher than my cost price and they were quite happy coz its damn cheap. They even wanted to pay me more but i declined. At least i noe my idea works. After few times, i increase the price by another $1-2 bucks depending on the quality and they r still very happy, afterall the freshness is there and indonesia fish r always nicer than malaysia, thailand, etc.

Each time, i sell them around 4kg which i made a profit of $20-$30 bucks out of nth. The bad ting is tat i need to carry until sibeh jialat. coz + ice its v heavy. But to tink of it, xin ku abit to earn tis free money its difinately worth it, treat it as i carry weight each time to train my muscles

When i first brought back the fish, my mum oso say veri cheap and even wanted me to sell her “aunties clan” coz the aunties always complain market sell v exp. So i asked my mum to take order frm the “aunties clan” and everyday earn tis free money. imagine by doing so daily, it bcum a constant xtra income. I belif aunties de mouth r veri powerful, i will have free advertising and news will spread to more ppl so tat i hav more orders. haha im like out to destroy woodlands market de fish mongers. Now i only wan to hurry get my car liscense after i complete my malay course so tat i can take more orders n earn more. If nt i can only carry limited Kgs of fish back. And when i hav my own car, mayb i can upgrade to hsehold delivery den charge service charge. Or even bcum a part time agent for restaurants coz i get fishes cheaper than other agents and i sell cheaper to restaurants i belif they will rather buy frm me. With 2 source of income (frm supplying fish in fishery port and supplying outside), i will b able to hit my 30k target earlier than i plan.

this is a quote by a fren of mine. i find it very meaningful coz when i read it, a special kind of feeling occur within me.

Everyone have their own defination or perspective of seeing things. Why i said this sentence is very meaningful is bcoz, sometimes when 2 person r together for very long, they grow and mature together but at the same time hav their own idea of life resulting in dispute. Some will fight, some will quarrel, some will hav cold war, and sadly some will break up. But have they even question themselves, y r they together in the first place? What is the main objective of being together? To build a happiness within both? To have a happy family? To share burdens, problems and cross boundaries together? To give and take? Many times, many of us will experience things which will leave us wondering wad went wrong, where is the problem. But b4 asking ourselves these questions, we have to ask ourselves. What is our purpose of doing in the first place? I believe most of us will tend to forget. The reason of being together in the first place is bcoz we dun wan to b alone. We want to hav someone to care/love for and being care/love. If its not the life we seek for den why r we together in the first place?

Love is a very powerful word. There are many different kinds of love. Love for family, love for the disables, elders, frens or even stranger whom u might not noe but need help. Even having courtesy towards ppl is oso consider a way of love.

Not only couples. Friends are being friends in the first place is bcoz of fate, but sometimes when i see nwadays friends r nt like how we r b4, it saddens me. Mayb is bcoz we all have grown up and we only care for ourselves. Maybe is bcoz we hav our own commitments but somehow rather, the love is lost..

But if we ask ourselves, the only reason to everything is actually the topic of this post.

Suddenly xin xue lai chao wan to buy all these food to enjoy.

It feels veri heavenly to eat n eat n eat n drink while playing game at home.

The last time i did tis was 4-5 yrs ago.

I was fatter den.

Sometimes we hav to pamper ourselves abit.

Especially when u feeling so down..

Went Al Ameen after buying the stuff.

Ate dinner and drank 2 cups of Kopi Cino Ice.

Chatted for 4hrs.

Went home.

Wanted to enjoy my food and game.

No mood so i lie on the bed awhile to think of things.

Dozed off.

Tired.

Sad.

As i mentioned in my older post many weeks ago, theres something i need to amend. This competition we (me, gong, yf, ivan) entered is nt going to VS other CSC zone from woodlands. Instead, we will b representing whole of Woodlands to VS other 25 CSC zones from Singapore.

First match will b held on 18th April 6pm @ Jurong West Sports Hall. Our first opponent will be Bishan East Zone. Do come for support if u have the time Hope we can do the whole Woodlands Zone proud by proceeding as far as we can for this tournament.

Haha i got my results back for the recent malay test. i got the highest in class with the score of 92/100.  I tink with the exposure of malay ppl since pri sch till nw, made learning more easier. Compare to other foreigners in my class, or even other singaporeans, i tink i can easily absorb wad the teacher is teaching everyweek. With regular self revision and interacting with the malay workers at work (which they helped alot in my learning process) its like xtra practice for me.

Today after lesson, went to CWP to buy zippo fluid. I see the zippo lighter which jack gave for my bday v poor ting, keep lying on the table den i didnt use. To show some appreciation to jack, i intend to use it at home so tat i wun lose it or drop it. After buying, while omw back, i was stop by some UOB credit card promoter at the ground floor. The previledges of the UOB One Platinium card looks quite attractive but suddenly i remember wad my uncle told me b4 “credit card r for losers. if u hav enuff cash in hand y would u need to hav a CC? if u wan to apply for the previledges den tink abt the month or yearly fees u need to pay to get tis previledge which afterall u r actually paying for the previledge which u tot u r getting in the first place. and if u use the CC, u will hav to pay interest which in the end goes back to square one (which if u hav money y will u use CC in the first place?)” I know it sounds contridicting and i may phrase it veri confusingly but just gif it a thought and u will understand everyting. Im just a step away to apply for the CC which i didnt in the end. Thanks god tat my uncle “appear” in time to stop me lol.

Tonight there will b another gathering going on. Also with my primary sch frens but tis time its a different grp. hah.. all the gatherings r going on at the right time coz no one jio me out today and its gonna b veri boring to stay at home on a sat night. Just nice i can spend the afternoon to accomplish some tings i hav nt done which i wanted to since v long ago.

Met up wif Carol Chue Mei Wen for a dinner at “the Bojangles”, the grill bar located at Woodgrove. It has been there since at least 1 yr ago if im nt wrong but i hav never been there b4. i always thought it is a veri chup place wif lots of kek leng kias. After last night, i changed my opinion of that place.

Ambience still can make it, just tat inside gt a pool table den sometimes very noisy when ppl wan to breeak the ball.. We went there at around 6.30pm so at tat time still nt much ppl. While eating, i notice slowly more n more ppl come in to dine, chill..

The food there i give it a 4/5 stars. Bad thing is that the air-con i tink too cold liao the food will turn cold easily lol. And the food only cost us $24 for 2 person which i find it very cheap. It is a very recommendable place for frens or couples to relax, and gather but nt too big grp tho coz i oso notice their tables all fixed to the floor so its nt easily movable and its nt veri big too.

As usual. no pics haha. too busying chatting till i forgot to take. I swear i was telling myself to take more pics b4 going. So nxt time k… since its so near to my place i belif i will b there very often.

Went L4D with the woodgrove gang ( gong mao yf). lol wanted to go my hse downstairs but amazingly its fully book on a wed nite, ended going to woodgrove LAN. tis is the 2nd time we r playing together. the first time we had veri great understanding and teamwork but ytd abit cock up. haha i belif mayb few more times we will bcum a veri gd team. altho its just a game, but who like losing especially when playing vs in LAN and losing to strangers – -. nw we r only trying campaign maps but when we r zai we will go qie qie qie ppl.

Yesteryesterday

Nothing much happened just tat during the afternoon while using com, i suddenly heard a loud boooooooooom downstairs. Bcoz its quite loud and nt always i hear tis kind of loud booooooooooom, i peep out of the window but saw nth. Aftertat my mum who went to buy some groceries came back and told me a 16yrs old Kek Leng Kia from Fuchun Sec committed suicide by jumping down frm the blk behind mine. The boy lived nearby but choose to suicide at his gf’s blk. The reason y he suicide is bcoz he is so in love with his gf and if my source is accurate, his gf gt pregnant. Becoz the boy has a strict dad who oppose him of having a relationship, he cannot cope with the pressure frm dad, pressure of underage gf being pregnant, he ended his life. (my mum can fight wif 007 OK. damn kpo can b top spy liao)

Because im old now, i wan to say..  Nwadays de youngsters arh.. bo dai bo chi end their life. Imagine the one tat suffer the most will b his dad and his gf. especially the gf nw need to take care of the child single handedly and shes only 16. And wad abt the child? I realli dun understand how they find tis kind of courage to die. I have twice wanted to end my life in the past but its really nt an ez ting to do. i guess i hav too much dreams which i haven accomplish or mayb im too hum chi.

Yesterday

Yesterday oso nth much happen. Afterwork went home to slp immediately den night time had a gathering with my primary sch frens @ miss lee hse. Had buffet and played some card games. Nt those normal card games but rather, those u play in mind’s cafe (haha we play for free).  LOVE U GUYS SO MUCH MAN. *heart heart* the feeling is damnnnnnn great lor. as in so happy to see u all and still keeping in touch after so many yrs. Looking forward for our nxt Ubin trip, MissLee’s bday celebration and MeiWen’s farewell
