Raffles Ascott Hotel

Woot hotel outing was so much fun. we met up at around 5.30pm on sat, some of us went to the hotel first to put our stuff and shower, while others are on their way. We had our dinner at Lau Pak Sat, super delicioussssssssssssssssssssss. The 2 whole tables were flooded with food. I tink we ordered around 10 dishes, like buffet lydat. Eat until shioooooooooook. And of course, such a great honour to have Jeric to join us.

After dinner we actually played some card games,  some watched tv, some play psp while waiting for our food to be digested. Actually it was more of a warm-up for the later activities Everything lasted till around 8+ den we have our team lucky draw and of coz Alfrey is the winner with just 1 ticket left in the box lololol.

After the lucky draw we played a game which i dunno wad the name is, but it was quite fun.. simple game just using our hands, and its a mixture of UNO, so we actually put our hand in between other hands and one tap means continue, 2 tap means reverse direction, etc etc.. Of coz we have forfeit as well, and that is to use tissue to tickle the person’s ear and nose. Damn funny and I believe everyone enjoyed alot.

At around 10+ Jeric had to leave so some of us went to the roof top to explore the jacuzzi and swimming pool. Some of them are already falling aslp so the rest of us went for super at Lau Pak Sat afterthat. When we came back only left few of us are still having the energy to last for few more hrs. During this period of time we were watching an old movie call “Face Off”. What happen afterthat I am not very sure coz i was too tired and went to slp.

When I woke up, I heard that some of them already woke up at 6am but dunno wad da hell they were doing at that time. Ting Wei and Nezar went for a swim. I was there as well but was busying taking photos, wanted to join them but the water was soooooooo F-ing cold. The pool is so special, I tink ppl call this kind of pool the “Infinity Pool” You guys will understand what I mean when I upload the pics.

We packed our stuff at around 11am, had a short meeting and left the hotel. It was just a simple hotel outing, but it was the people that makes the whole outing so fun. And especially everyday we see each other during work, it was really an enjoyment and a good way to relax ourselves coz we believe we all work hard and play hard as well. 2 words to sum up the hotel outing.

Dua Pek Gong Temple + Tattoo Session

After the hotel outing, I head home to unpack my stuff and meet gong to go Dua Pek Gong Temple. I think hes feeling bored and since I have nothing to do, I dont mind going.

As usual lots of people, and the normal procedure.. only thing to talk about is that there was this huge stone in the temple, people usually crowd around it to look for 4D numbers. Some will see it, some will not, while different people will see different number. The most happening thing is that me and Gong saw exactly same numbers just in different sequence. We bought 4D and the number did open. But too bad in a sequence that we have not bought. Lol mixed feelings, coz initially I dont really believe the numbers will open, so was actually trying my luck but when u see the numbers did open, you will feel damn gek. So in the end it was like 50 50 de feeling.

After Dua Pek Gong Temple, we head to Sultan Plaza, beside Textile Center in Lavender. My purpose of going there is to take a look at a Thai Buddha tattoo shop. You know those Divination Master will actually help you do a tattoo using freehand and not from machine, then they will chant some Thai Buddhist Script. So different Script have different effects. I have plan to do such tattoo since long time ago but didnt expect myself to do it that day, cause I was thought have to book an appointment first and at the same time get myself mentally prepared. Putting tattoo is painful but without much thinking I just went ahead since it was a sooner or later thing.

All I can say is that, this free hand tattoo is much much more painful than those normal tattoo that I have done using machine. The Master actually use thicker needle and pierce it through the skin. Each pierce is like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFucking painful. You guys shd ask Gong my facial expression, I was crunching my fist so hard that it turn red.

Well, I did 2 tattoo that day. 1 is a Sak Yant to “Kai Guang” and “Bi Xie”. Coz you actually need to put a Yak in order to put other scripts on your body. The Yak is like an access to enable the effect of the scripts. In direct translation, “Kai Guang” means open light. “Bi Xie” is to prevent evil things from following or going near you. 2nd tattoo is slightly bigger. It is actually a 5 sentence thai buddha script which have the effect of bringing the person Luck, Good relationship with people and Wealth.

I am not a very devoted Buddhist, but I am a strong believer in this kind of things. And although hard work is always essential, my concept is that Luck does play an important element in life as well. As for better relationship with people, in my work industry this is important to me also, even in my real life. And lastly for wealth, it has been a miserable past few years for me becoz of money problems. I am not being greedy to believe this kind of things but at the end of the day, who da hell in this world doesnt want to be wealthy? Money is the passport to many things and because of money, it has bring lots of torment in my life.

I will be uploading the pics for the hotel outing most prob this weekend coz it will take very long time. I am actually squeezing out my time for sleep to update this post. And of coz will upload the pics of my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4rd tattoo as request by quite a number of ppl. =)
